Here are some images from the The 125 Kindred Clubs Day which was held on the 11th of July 2009. Again we were very lucky with the weather for the day, with brilliant sunshine and temperatures in the 90`s on the green. This was an occasion for welcoming friends, both  old and new, and enjoying a great day of Bowls. The day more than lived up to expectation and a large turnout was achieved, although unfortunately Milngavie Bowling Club arrived after the competition was well underway due to a misunderstanding. 

The semi final stage saw the competition really heat up, and the quality of the Bowls was excellent.

The semi finals were contested over 5 ends between Clydebank and Old Kilpatrick, and Clydebank and Yarrow 2. As you will see from a photo below, one Semi final was at 4 all after 4 ends, which made it very exciting. the Final was eventually played out between the  two Clydebank teams and Grant Russell`s team came out on top, winning by the very last bowl on the last end.
