Here are some images from the presentation of prizes for the Saturday Sweep in the club. The Saturday Sweep is played on the short carpet over the winter months for members to enjoy when the greens are unplayable. The sweep is sponsored by Arthur Watson and we are all very grateful for his support over the years. There are a number of other very important people who help throughout the season and if it wasn`t for them donating their time and effort, we would be a much poorer club overall. Bill Blane,  who organises the pies and draws the raffle, thus making sure we are all fed during the afternoons Bob Fyfe, takes care of organising the players, arranging who plays next etc...... without Bob it would be chaos! Jean Fyfe, arranges the raffle, tickets etc etc  and makes absolutely sure that no-one misses the opportunity to take part in the raffle.. :-} ( thats another way of saying that she makes sure I have to buy tickets every week)
