Welcome to a Mad Mick`s Tours
How the tours went worldwide
These days when the world seems to move at a hectic pace and never stands still, it is sometimes good to look back and see exactly what happened to change your life and how you became so popular across the world ( and Old Kilpatrick )
Mad Mick`s Tours have been a local success since the day they were first able to take passengers... in the early days all of the tours were fairly local, because Mick wasn`t allowed out after half six at night!
However after Mick had taken his first flight in a Zeppelin he was committed to opening up the wonders of the world to his customers ( especially the ones who paid ! )

Mick went to great lengths, with no expense spared to meet the natives and get friendly with them

Mick was so proud of the places he had seen that he wanted to share his experiences with others and just like Charles Darwin, he wanted to make a log of all the wonderful species of plants and animals ( and kind of humany looking things , like the picture above and below ).

But there was a small obstacle................... not only did Mick struggle with joined up writing, he couldn`t draw. !
But never mind help was to hand.... Mick`s friend. Jim Summertime popped round to his house with a self help course for drawing and painting. Mick thought this was a good idea, cos he looked like Rolf Harris ( only mair handsome ) and Rolf did some great painting when he managed to keep his hands off his diggereedoo ! That is Rolf Harris the Australian, you know the wan that invented the dear paint brushes ye get in B&Q.... no the wan with that green Orville Duck thing, thats Keith Harris !
( Anyone else who is interested in this course can phone Jim Summertime and he will explain how to enrol. )
When you phone Jim, please give him the following reference to make sure you enrol on the correct course:
" Big Colouring In Book, with 48 crayons "
Just to get you started I have attached a wee file here for people to practice painting, it was meant to look like The Commander in Chief, but the picture doesn`t do him justice !!
The Charles Darwin Illustrated Encyclopedia
Well I could go on for ever telling tales of the Mad Mick Empire, but time marches on. For those who are interested in seeing how the world has taken to Mick`s Tours, please take the time to watch this short film about Mick`s Nobel Prize win. Mick himself is far too quiet, reserved and bashfull to talk about the award....... but a picture says a thousand words, a film says a million words....... and Mick beats both of them in one sentence....
Click the link below, it goes REAL slow, but it is a film about the most important day in the life of Mad Mick`s Tours
