Our Mantra

We pride ourselves in the ability to laugh at ourselves and to look at this newsletter as a lighthearted read.

However we also try to be fair and present our readers with a balanced view of the topics we cover.. So todays " Bankie Bugle " is dedicated to

The Committee of the 125....

The 125 Committee

As we approach the end of the playing season in our 125th year, I feel that we should pay homage to the 125 Committee who have worked tirelessly for the last two years to make our anniversary year special...

The 125 Members Day saw the committee standing proud beside the plinth that was laid to commemorate the great occasion, and we are proud to bring that image to you......

the members of the Committee from left to right are:

Duncan McLarty, Blair F Graham, Billy Adams, Willie Riach and Brian Purdie

This was easy to determine when the guys are dressed in their club uniforms looking resplendent on the day. However there are occasions where it is SLIGHTLY less obvious to determine who is who on an image...

As I stated earlier, the Committee have worked tirelessly to raise funds for the 125 year doing all sorts of things for   the benefit of the club. While they ( as far as we know ) didn`t quite achieve the same status as the guys who did     "The Full Monty", the pictures below were taken at a " Ladies Only " function and we have not been able to find anyone who is willing to tell us exactly what did happen !!!!!!!!!

I am advised that one of the figures in the photo is

"MR MOTIVATOR" McLARTY

another one who has been recognised is

LINFORD "KITCHEN ROLL" ADAMS

third one recognised is

"RIGHT ON BABY", RIACH

I am unable to identify the other two in the photo`s, but maybe some of the members could help me out here with the names......  The Ladies refuse to comment !

From the picture we have been able to deduce the origins of " The Pink Shirts", and who was responsible for the sudden surge of polo shirts where the dye had run. And all the time we were blaming an Ex member, Stuart Graham, who was kind enough to supply us with these pictures, and wishes to remain anonymous. ( which we will obviously respect )

On occasion the committee members also worked individually to raise funds for the 125 year and we applaud their efforts.
